About Kendra

I am currently a student at the University of Washington in Seattle majoring in Communication and minoring in Education.  As a senior graduating in June 2010, I hope to find a job in event coordination and production.  I serve as intern event coordinator for University of Washington Marketing, designing and staffing UW functions that range from pre-football game receptions and informal pep rallies to large dinners for U.N. dignitaries.

My current projects include the Husky Promise Tour and Dawg Days in the Desert.

I speak conversational Italian and would love to improve my grasp on the language.  If this means dining at more Italian restaurants, so be it.  I would also love to return to Italy to visit the host family that I lived with during my semester abroad.  In my limited spare time, I enjoy scouring issues of Cooking Light and catching up on the first season of Glee.  I am counting down the days until Thanksgiving.
